OMNIAX is designed to be a self-contained cabinet serving
subscribers in it’s’ vicinity. This could
be 352 to 1696 POTS, 288 to 1008 DSL or a combination
of both
It is typically powered by AC mains, and has batteries
to power the unit for approximately 8 hours, in case
of AC mains failure.
It can be installed in buildings or at street corners,
either indoor or outdoor.
